Geophysical Information for Teachers (GIFT) Workshop: "The International Heliophysical Year" - sponsored by the American Geophysical Union.
Lectures given by leading scientists and science educators to pre-college teachers. It happens
during the AGU General Assembly and includes hands on
activities and practices that the teachers can use in their classes. This is a free event but registration is required.

This is a free event. No registration required. All are welcome. There will be several hands on science activities
for families, including sunspotters, H alpha telescopes and movies projected in a dome.
The event will take place from 16:30 to 18:30 on May 23rd, 2007.
