    Geophysical Information for Teachers (GIFT) Workshop: "The International Heliophysical Year" - sponsored by the American Geophysical Union.
    Lectures given by leading scientists and science educators to pre-college teachers. It happens during the AGU General Assembly and includes hands on activities and practices that the teachers can use in their classes. This is a free event but registration is required.

    Family Science Event
    This is a free event. No registration required. All are welcome. There will be several hands on science activities for families, including sunspotters, H alpha telescopes and movies projected in a dome. The event will take place from 16:30 to 18:30 on May 23rd, 2007.

    Telling the Interrelated Story: On March 20, 2007 representatives from 5 of NASAs missions will share highlights from each of their missions and share their interconnected space weather story with students from around the world.

    Discover the Stars at Armagh - Cross-Border Schools Science Conference 2007 . Organized by Armagh Observatory and the Centre for Cross Border Studies. It will involve about 260 students aged 13-14 from both Ireland Republic and Northern Ireland.

    CISM Space Weather Summer School - aimed at students entering graduate school in space or solar physics, but also at some undergraduates, high-school teachers and professionals entering the field. The school provides an overview of the space environment, space weather hazards and models.
