HELIOPHYSICS PICTURE OF THE WEEK A Physics Moment The IHY-Yemen National Committee holds monthly workshops to plan IHY events and activities. In May, the theme was "Celebrating IHY by demonstrating that physics is present in each moment of our lives," and they hosted a special event at the the Faculty of Science at Sana'a University in collaboration with the French Cultural Center in Sana'a, with 18 interactive experiments and participants from around the country. His experience as the leader of Yemen's extremely successful World Year of Physics program has been useful in implementing Yemen's many scientific and educational activities for IHY.
