The Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE) is nearing its tenth anniversary of
studying the solar wind
and interplanetary
medium. The observations from the first Lagrange point between the Earth and the Sun allow us
an optimal view of the space phenomena that are approaching Earth!
How many physicists have their own newspaper column? The very dedicated
leader of IHY-Yemen, Professor Abdul Haq Sultan, has published more than 500 articles in local newspapers, including his weekly column
"A Little Bit of Logic." His experience as the leader of Yemen's extremely
successful
World Year of Physics program
has been useful in implementing Yemen's many scientific and educational activities
