IHY ACTIVITY OF THE WEEK

Look Out for Venus

The planet Venus is brighter than any star in the sky (except the Sun, of course!) At present Venus is well placed for viewing in the evening sky. Look towards the west after sunset and if your sky is clear you can't miss this really bright planet.

Produce a map of the sky as seen from your location: http://www.fourmilab.ch/cgi-bin/Yoursky.
