Geospace Targeted Observing Campaign:
Day-to-day variability of F-region vertical drifts at the magnetic equator

Campaign Description:
The magnetometers near the magnetic equator and those off the equator (outside the equatorial electrojet region) in the same longitude sector should be used to make simultaneous measurements of the horizontal component (H) of the magnetic field. The difference (ΔH) between the measured H values at the two locations in the daytime can provide estimates of the vertical drifts in the F-region.
