Combining Multiple Data Sets: The "WHI Mosaic"

Hi all! As you all know, WHI is an ambitious undertaking. And as everyone knows, comparing multiple data sets and model results is a major challenge.

If you haven't already read it, please take a look at the WHI Data and Model Information Request. That hopefully will get you started on inputting data and model results into WHI.

So the big question is, how do we examine data from such a wide range of locations? WHI focuses on solar Carrington Rotation 2068. So those of you who don't work on solar data might first ask: What is a Carrington Rotation?

We answer this on a page that contains a description of these coordinates, written for non-solar people.

Then we can move on to the next question: How do we link these solar coordinates to the heliosphere and Earth?.
